Television

I thought I'd combine my radio skills with the presentation skills I acquired in my advertising work - and it seems to have worked well.
Demo

I read news as a volunteer for Triangle Television (Triangle Stratos Ltd). Click here to go to a recording of a sample Triangle TV newscast I have read.

Radio

I started my radio career with community radio work in Armidale, Australia, and then with the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, spanning presentation (announcing), production and technical aspects of live as well as recorded programming.

Commercial Voicing

My work in radio naturally led to a number of commercial voicing projects. My voice is characterised as exotic / sophisticated, with a British / neutral international accent.

Anchor

This jingle was composed for speculative advertising pitch for Anchor milk in Sri Lanka.

Jingles

My approach to writing jingles is to use the same strategic approach I applied to advertising creative, making the sound and feel of the jingle appropriate to the product.
Odel

Odel is an up-market apparel chain in Sri Lanka. This jingle was a collaboration between myself and the late Joe Tambimuttu, one of the most talented Sri Lankan musicians I have known.

The pilot was Joe's work on a personal multitrack.

The final track featured Joe, myself and a number of Sri Lankan pop musicians. I believe it won an advertising award.

Ceylinco

Ceylinco is a well known Sri Lankan insurnance company.

This project was intended as a corporate jingle. As Sri Lanka has three official languages, the jingle had to reflect the company's corporate values in all three languages.
